So this morning I ended up getting suspended from DeliverThat and it was kind of disheartening. To be completely transparent, this time I TOTALLY get why. That said, doing so did cause a lot of drawbacks.
So in this article, We are talking about:
How I got Suspended on DeliverThat
How I got back on
EVERYTHING in Between!

Why I Got Suspended
So this past Saturday, I had an order on DeliverThat in the morning and usually I like to take those orders so I can move on throughout my day making sure I make more throughout the day without having a sense of deadline pressures, or choosing between paying bills and building businesses.
That said, I have alarms set for those times. That way I can get up and do them without an issue.
All of that said, those alarms were all on my phone… which went through some kind of update in the middle of the night and didn’t turn back on… didn’t even realize that until I woke up the next morning.
I slept right through the order… That said, I am still 100% responsible. I don’t believe in one sided accountability, I can’t be critical of other platforms if I am not also critical of myself.
I called that day and Heather from Live Delivery Support said I was still being paid for it, and if I receive an email about it I should respond to them immediately to prevent any issues with the platform. I never received an email about it so I assumed it was all good… until that Monday.
The Email

This morning I accepted a DeliverThat order, and after an hour I had it recalled and was notified that I was suspended due to the no-show. Honestly, I deserved this but I was told I was all good so I wanted to call back to make sure there was no miscommunication.
I contacted Heather again and she said I wasn’t deactivated, I was suspended and just said to go through the quiz and they will review it and you can hop right back on. Which was a better result than expected and immediately hopped on it… while everyone else needed me for something but okay.
The Re-Education Quiz
First of all, the re-education quiz is similar to your preferred driver quiz where you go through the test, answer all the questions as effectively as possible, they give you a % at the very end and you can take it as many times as you need, but you need 100% to pass.

That said, some of the policies made sense and others are a bit confusing. There is a difference between “driver support” and “live delivery” support, Not all the policies are listed clearly in the mentioned articles, and there were some errors along the way like restricted access to certain policies and technical glitches.
I was able to get 97% but there were apparently 2 questions I was having a challenge with. I contacted Driver Experience about this and Cara was able to help me out. They said on the website that they cannot help you and this is about being resourceful, but yes you can.
In fact, Cara was such a sweetheart about it walked me through why things are the way they are and some of the policies that come with this platform and told me some interesting things about the platform, which I will get to later.
No Longer Preferred
I am now reinstated as a DeliverThat driver. What ends up happening is that I am now a Same Day Tier Driver, as opposed to a Preferred driver which is what I was before this happened, meaning I am starting up as if I just got on the platform for the first time.
They even sent me a welcome email and everything as if I was a brand new driver.
Even still, I maintain the same lifetime history (confirmed by Cara) and all I have to do is not screw up again in the next couple of weeks. Then I can get back to the Catering Tier and then back to Preferred after retaking the quiz.
My Position Now
I know I just said I can get back to preferred in due time, but my position has changed now, I am not as in control of my schedule. I am building start-up ventures and expanding the channel to greater heights and across platforms, including my own.
I also have other platforms I can work on in the meantime so I can maintain a cash-flow while I am building back up, so I don’t feel forced to take low quality orders while waiting to be eligible for preferred driver status.
That said I am only able to maintain that position because I maintained a diversified gig portfolio and developed an exit strategy, and make sure you have other avenues of income, such as what you can find on the Driven Wyld Discord Community!
